Capitol Spouses Retreat

Randy & Kimberly Genau, Founders, Alabaster House.

The Capitol Spouses Retreat is an incredible opportunity for congressional spouses, ambassador’s wives, and other key political women to get away, build relationships, receive prayer, and listen to an inspirational speaker share how personal faith has helped with managing the pressures of political life.

Alabaster House provides a respite in a unique setting surrounded by woods and tranquility to those leaders and spouses who often work in an isolated environment and many times face political pressures alone.

Alabaster House provides a safe place where governing leaders and spouses can be encouraged spiritually and develop friendships to help them as their family serves.

Programs typically include a coffee reception, outdoor brunch, time for developing relationships with other leaders and spouses, special music by local artist, morning devotional, prayer and reflection time.  As the weather permits, much of the retreat is held outside in a beautiful setting where leaders and spouses can be refreshed.
