There are very few moments of quiet, peace, and stillness that legislators experience. Once elected or appointed, the fast pace rigors of Washington seep into every area of their lives. Alabaster House provides the chapels as a way to slow down their pace, focus their attention on God, and receive direction from him. Each chapel has a practical application and prayer that encourages the leaders to seek godly wisdom, and answers in their legislative career, family life, and other matters that weigh heavily on their hearts. 

The purpose of the Alabaster House Chapel is: 

1. To provide a safe place where government leaders can grow in their faith. 

2. To create an atmosphere where God can guide and direct our leaders, by listening to his still small voice. John 10:27 

3. To ensure government leaders receive direct ministry in a confidential nature. 

4. To make available the opportunity for our leaders to find the Holy Spirit in practical ways and to fall more in love with him. 

5. To personally pray and minister directly to government leaders, thereby helping them to lay down their  burdens and be renewed.
